Sightseeing, walking, dining and bar hopping in Nantucket

Doug, keeping the unruly crew from going astray shoreside!

The boys propped up the bar over a few beers.

Meanwhile Tami and Jeanie enjoyed some girl time, exploring the cobblestone lanes of Nantucket, exfoliating/massaging our feet as we strolled along sandy white beaches shell collecting and enjoying the visual delights of this magical whaling town

Brant Point Lighthouse, established in 1746

Ferries run on the hour to bring daytrippers from the mainland to the island.  Uneven cobbles make for an uncomfortable ride but once out of the heart of the town, a great mode of transport for exploring the island

Cobbled streets lined with quaint housing, dating from the 1600's.  The whaling captains made alot of money back in the day and this was reflected in some stunning historic mansions
