Today’s jobs included lashing the anchor for open ocean, feeding the mainsail luff into the bottom of the mast track, stowing and securing anything loose in the garage and the same down below. The most tedious job today has been the drawing up of the log book. We record so many things from wind speed and angle to the checking of the bilges.
Log entries every watch change or couple of hours
Paradigm all prepped and ready to go! We are experiencing the most gorgeous of days, blue skies and sunshine with just a wee autumnal nip in the air. We will be in our winter woollies tonight! Lunenburg is definitely on our “places to revisit” list.
17.45 pm and we’re off!!
Hopefully we’ll pick up a satellite along the way to keep in touch,
Fair winds and calm seas!
