Three Captains and One Mermaid sailing to Gibson Island

For the return trip we have a wealth of experience onboard Paradigm. Not one but three Captains and one remaining Mermaid.

Captain Charlie
Charlie now has another 1,000+ nautical miles under his belt and has embraced the relaxed cruising lifestyle and the freedom sailing offers. Business meetings have been kept to a minimum. A big shout out to his team at Wright Bros and Global Gas.

Mermaid Jeanie
What can I say? Jeanie has transformed herself into a domestic goddess and strainer queen. She is pretty handy above and below decks and has readily picked up some new mechanical skills. Jeanie is in her best happy place on the open ocean.

Captain Rick Truett
Rick runs the very successful Truett Marine Services with his son Jack and is part of the Paradigm family. He has sailed regularly with Charlie and oversees all the work projects onboard. Rick is a highly experienced and knowledgeable sailor, running the Gibson Island Boatworks until recently and as Captain onboard the beautiful schooner Lady Maryland.

Captain Chris Rowsom
Chris is the consummate professional mariner! Growing up in Long Island he has been a schooner captain for much of his life including the original Pride of Baltimore and the Lady Maryland out of Baltimore. Recently retired Chris was the fleet manager for the Living Classrooms Foundation and ran the Historic Ships of Baltimore.
